Wade and Tonie Marlow spent decades making the Blue Horse Gallery a bastion of free speech and creative merchandising for both local and regional artists and those who support them. When Christine Grinstead bought the gallery from the couple last year, it was with renovation plans in hand. These days, the art space is augmented by a wine and coffee bar, live music many nights of the week and an occasional salsa dance soiree. Grinstead must be doing something right, as voters made it clear they approve.
